// Hibiscus Sun Tea and Bad Gifts//

Happy Monday friends.  This song is dedicated to you as we roll out of bed, face the heat and start the work week once again.

My friend Ashley posted a beautiful photo of sun tea this weekend and it got my tea loving gears turning.  If it’s going to be hot (113 degrees!) lets make the most of it and make some iced tea.

Have I mentioned before that I like practical gifts?  A few months ago I gifted my husband some hibiscus loose leaf tea from Whole Foods.  As I think back about this practical woman-ish gift, I sincerely apologize to his manhood and hope that this sun tea recipe I made yesterday will make up for gifting him loose leaf tea as a “surprise”.

You need 5 things to make Hibiscus and Honey Sun Tea.

1. Hibiscus Tea

2. Honey

3. A Pitcher

4. The Sun

5. Water

Directions:

1. For every cup of tea, add 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea and 6oz of water

2. Place tea, water, and honey in a pitcher and place outside in the sun for 4 hours

3. After the sun has warmed the tea for 4 hours…Enjoy!
